Dr. Faisal Allie B.Sc. MD (IMG), ND is a skilled and educated medical professional with over 10 years of industry related experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Human Biology from the prestigious University of Toronto, one of the highest rated universities in Canada. He then obtained a medical education from St. Christopher’s College, Cambridge Campus, United Kingdom.

In addition, he achieved a Doctor of Naturopathy degree in May 2016 from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), a well-known and fully accredited institution. While at CCNM, Dr Allie was part of the Adjunctive Cancer Care Shift, which is now known as the Integrated Cancer Centre. This shift primarily focused on the cancer patient population and what naturopathic medicine can offer in terms of patient care. His theoretical experience is complemented by wide- ranging work experiences spanning Canada, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom, which have allowed him to build up various useful skills related to health care.

Dr Allie is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) by passing United States Medical Licensing Exams Steps 1, 2, 2CS and 3 and giving the distinction of being a qualified international medical graduate (IMG) in the United States and Canada. Dr Allie Also holds licensing exams from the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam and Qualifying exams I and II and NAC- OSCE. Dr. Allie’s training allows him to practice evidence-based medicine, with a focus on prevention and his diagnostic skills, integrating both conventional and allopathic medicine making him among the best choices in the city to provide well rounded patient care with a naturopathic medicine focus. He currently holds prescribing rights in and is certified to administer IV therapy by CONO in Ontario.

Dr Allie also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Inquiries and Complaints Reports Committee with the College of Naturopaths which helps to regulate the profession for the safety and interest of the public.

Dr Rick Bhim BSc, MD(IMG), ND

Associate 

 

After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Rick Bhim BSc, MD (IMG), ND, found and fell in love with the practice and principles of Naturopathic Medicine. In becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Bhim obtained a real appreciation for the connection he was able to make with patients while helping them obtain their health goals.

After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completing the CCNM Clinical Residency Program, Dr. Bhim became CCNM’s first Oncology Focused Resident. It was during this time that Dr. Bhim learned how to integrate Naturopathic Medicine with conventional cancer treatments, while working with various oncologists at Sunnybrook, Markham Stouffville and Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake hospitals.

Dr. Bhim currently teaches at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is also a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP), where he sits on the Education Committee and is also a Research Associate for the Knowledge in Integrative Oncology Database.

Dr. Bhim believes Integrative Oncology is a great way to prevent and reduce the side effects of conventional cancer treatments, while improving a patient’s quality of life. Using evidence informed natural treatments, Dr. Bhim aims to optimize health, quality of life and clinical outcomes for all of his patients.
